This position is responsible for all facilities operations for the entire Polytechnic Campus which consists of 20 buildings with a combined total of more than 346,000 square feet of classroom, office, and student residential housing as well as 121 acres of land. Position is responsible for all upkeep, maintenance, and long term projections of maintenance issues. Position will have to make decisions for emergency repair of buildings in the event of storm, other damage, and/or failing HVAC systems. Position is also responsible for updates and implementation of Campus Master Plan, manages strategic campus growth, proper asset leverage / facility usage and improvement of asset sustainability. This position is responsible for maintaining communications and timely reporting to KS-Manhattan as requested.

Research Assistant Manhattan, Kansas
The Office of Educational Innovation and Evaluation (OEIE) at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS seeks a Research Assistant to join a service-oriented multi-disciplinary team to provide support to program evaluation and social science research functions such as data collection, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and report writing. Must be comfortable working in an environment with frequent phone and on-line interaction and able to complete tasks accurately and on time without extensive supervision. The successful candidate will have the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems creatively. This position will work to support program evaluation, project development, and monitoring and reporting activities at OEIE. The county office staff includes two agents, an office professional/4-H program assistant. This position will serve 3,500 families and has a history of programming in foods and nutrition, health and safety, and family life. In addition, this agent will share leadership for 4-H youth development programming, serving youth in community clubs, school enrichment and after school programs in the county’s three school districts. Extension agents are professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to family and consumer sciences. Programming will include but is not limited to: family life, nutrition, food safety, parenting, communication, financial management, leadership, and health.
