Main responsibilities include: (1) Modeling the indirect land use effects of voluntary zero-deforestation commitments undertaken by private companies in the soy, oil palm, and cattle sectors in South America and Southeast Asia; (2) Working with a multidisciplinary team of researchers to couple a computable general equilibrium model with a high-resolution land use model to consistently track land use change across scales.
