Intern - Diagnostic Medicine	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
The purpose of the position is to offer quality of after-hours testing performed by the clinical pathology laboratory while at the same time train veterinarians who want to advance their diagnostic skills and/or those who are hoping to pursue advanced training in the field of veterinary diagnostic medicine. The successful candidate is one with an interest in veterinary diagnostic medicine, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to arrive to perform afterhours tests within 20 minutes of being paged. This internship will help prepare and assist interns in preparation for residencies, in any diagnostic field, particularly clinical or anatomic pathology.
Vet Nurse Intern I - Large Animal	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
This Veterinary Large Animal Nurse I (Limited Term) Intern position provides an opportunity for professional growth in the Veterinary Health Center. An outstanding graduate veterinary nurse will be selected to obtain high quality, enhanced technical experience and training through employment in defined specialty areas. Objective of this position is to enhance employee marketability for private practice and/or assist with obtaining two years of post-graduate experience to qualify for future Veterinary Nurse II openings in the VHC. This position is designated as essential.
