About This Role:

The Department of Civil Engineering at Kansas State University seeks to fill one 9-month Teaching Assistant Professor position to teach courses in the structural analysis and design/mechanics including undergraduate courses and graduate courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Specific course assignments will be determined based on the strengths and experience of the selected candidate. College-level teaching experience is a plus.

The College of Engineering at Kansas State University is undergoing rapid expansion and is adding 35 additional faculty over a five-year period. The college is the largest and most comprehensive engineering college in Kansas, with over 4,200 undergraduate and graduate students.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or allied field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior demonstrated teaching experience at the college level.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
