General Description of Position:

Postdoctoral Researcher; Topic: Eukaryotic gene regulation by microRNAs

Job Description:

The postdoctoral researcher will perform experiments aimed at understanding the mechanisms of gene regulation by microRNAs. The postdoctoral researcher will conduct independent and collaborative research using molecular, biochemical, genetic, and genomic techniques to study questions related to microRNA biogenesis and function.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

PhD degree in biology, biochemistry, or any related sub-discipline. Applicants in the process of completing their PhD are encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a previous record of productivity, excellent technical and communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have a strong record of productivity as demonstrated through research publications and a desire to develop and lead independent projects.

Salary Range / Pay Rate:

Salary is commensurate with experience. $47,476-$50,000
