About This Role:

Coordinates and provides administrative Support for Graduate Council. Works closely with the Dean and Associate Deans on Graduate Council matters; serves as the communications interface between the Deans, Graduate Council, Council subcommittees, and graduate programs. Manages the course and curriculum approval processes for all graduate courses and programs. Coordinates Graduate program review processes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires two years of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in using computer software packages specific to the position. 

Five years of experience in office/clerical work. Bachelor's degree. Trained in using of personal computers and office software, general office practices, office administration.  Good Communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively work with the faculty, staff, students, supervisors, colleagues and the general public. Good oral and written communication skills in the English language to give and receive instructions and information. Customer service skills are needed to support service oriented environment of the Graduate School. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently are also necessary in this position. Proficient using Microsoft Office (to include Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint), Internet search engines, Adobe, email and electronic calendars. Experience using KSIS and Curriculog. Ability to determine deadlines, set priorities and meet established time lines. Discretion in handling confidential information and material. University or academic experience with knowledge of Kansas State University.

Salary Range/ Pay Rate:

$30,150-45,220, or $14.49-21.74 per hour
