About This Role:

This position performs a variety of routine customer service, clerical and administrative duties according to established procedures. Works collaboratively with department staff to manage office duties and support senior staff in the accomplishment of their duties. Works under supervision, but may be required to provide guidance and train others as needed. This position is in the English Language Program within the Office of International Programs.

This position is temporary.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • One year of relevant experience in general office, clerical or administrative support work. 
  • Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or four year college degree.
  • Training and 1+ year experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work.
  • Training and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, word and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with non-native English speakers and meeting the needs of a diverse international student population.
  • Ability to work in dependently and pay close attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range/ Pay Rate:

$12.88 - $19.33 per hour

Please note: the minimum annual salary rate for this position is $26,272.00.  Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, internal equity and departmental funding. Salary offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range. The range indicated includes both the typical hiring range and potential future progression.
