About This Role:

The Student Success Center in the College of Business Administration is looking for a full-time degree analyst to support the academic advising function and course schedule maintenance in the college. The degree analyst processes student academic records, performs course validations, creates reports and performs other tasks to provide students and academic advisors’ with accurate and up to date student records for all students in the undergraduate program. The degree analyst assists with the implementation and audit of college and university policies, procedures and graduation requirements. The degree analyst creates and maintains the course schedule for courses offered by the college.  The college has a centralized academic advising and career development Student Success Center with close to 20 professional staff members who serve approximately 2600 undergraduates.

The Student Success Center provides for a one-stop support center for all students in the undergraduate program. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • The applicant should possess a high school diploma and have one year of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support.
  • Experience with higher education management systems such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Campus Solutions, (KSIS, DARS) and scheduling software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience working with students, faculty, and staff in higher education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Salary Range/ Pay Rate:

 $32,599 - $50,528

Please note: The minimum salary for this position is $32,599. Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, internal equity and departmental funding. Salary offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range. The range indicated includes both the typical hiring range and potential future progression.
