About This Role:

This is an important research appointment in the area of theoretical atomic, molecular and optical physics in the research group of Professor Uwe Thumm.  The successful applicant will need a strong background in intense-field ultrafast laser science and in numerical computing and will vigorously participate in ongoing research at the J. R. Macdonald Laboratory.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Two years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Physics preferably with Theoretical Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
