About This Role:

 

K-State Polytechnic Library seeks an individual for the position of Office Specialist II.  This is a full-time, 12-month position. Primary roles include library services, accounting and ordering for the library, and Information Services.  This position will perform library duties such as interlibrary loan and serve as back-up to the Information Desk staff.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • One year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma 
  • Two years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in libraries
  • Experience in accounting

Other Requirements:

  • Must be team oriented
  • Must posess excellent customer services skills and attention to detail.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Salary Range/ Pay Rate:

$26,800 - $40,200 ($12.88-$19.33 per hour)

Please note: the minimum salary for this position is $26,800. Actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, internal equity and departmental funding. Salary offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the salary range. The range indicated includes both the typical hiring range and potential future progression.
