The incumbent of this position will be responsible for designing and developing physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models for chemicals or nanoparticles in animals and humans for food safety assessment or risk assessment. This individual will also apply machine learning and neural network modeling methods to study the association of nanoparticle physiological properties and tissue distribution. This individual will receive training in PBPK modeling, dose-response assessment, risk assessment, computational toxicology, machine learning and/or neural network modeling.

The incumbent of this position will receive training in computational PBPK modeling, analytical chemistry methods, and experimental animal techniques.
