Stafford County Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent Other
Extension agents are professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. Agents are administratively responsible to the Director of K-State Research and Extension (represented by a designated administrator) and the local extension board. This position will develop and implement comprehensive, pro-active educational programming related to agriculture and natural resources. Programming will include but is not limited to: agronomic and livestock production, agricultural economics, management and public policy, horticultural production and management, natural resources conservation, and environmental stewardship.
Central Kansas District Crop Production Extension Agent Other
Extension agents are professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. Agents are administratively responsible to the Director of K-State Research and Extension (represented by a designated administrator) and the local extension board. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programs related to production, management and marketing issues involved in crop production. Programs will include but are not limited to: tillage, planting, and variety selection; irrigation; weed, disease, and pest control; soil testing and fertilization; harvesting and post-harvest handling; sustainable practices; soil and water conservation and quality; risk management including crop marketing, crop insurance, and farm bill; decision tools including crop leasing arrangements; and bio-energy.

Extension agents are professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to family and consumer sciences. Programming will include but is not limited to: family life, nutrition, food safety, parenting, communication, financial management, leadership, health and safety.
Veterinary Nurse (Small Animal Medicine) Manhattan, Kansas
The Veterinary Health Center is seeking applicants for a Veterinary Nurse in the Small Animal Medicine section. This nurse will be responsible for providing technical services and minor instructional skills as necessary. Veterinary Nurse (Small Animal Intensive Care Unit) Manhattan, Kansas
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) with the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Veterinary Nurse to serve in the Small Animal Intensive Care Unit (SA-ICU). This position plans, organizes, directs, and controls technical work in the SA-ICU of the KSU-VHC during an established shift. Employee maintains equipment and supply status in the SA-ICU area and is responsible for assisting clinicians and senior veterinary students as they provide critical care to client cases in this work area. Responsible for cleanliness of the work area and assures primary care of critical patients and that supply are not outdated. Monitors medical records and ICU orders of patients for completeness, accuracy, and financial accountability. This position is also responsible for coordination of animal treatments; instruct, train and supervise students and employees in approved treatment technique.
