The focus of this Instructor position will be to develop and deliver high-quality, online undergraduate computer science courses. The Instructor will need a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field and a Master's degree in Computer Science or Education. Experience teaching online preferred.
Operations Technician Manhattan, Kansas
This position exists to strengthen the efforts of Facilities Operations to become more efficient & effective as well as operate as a First Class Customer Service provider. Core duties for this position include: Design and Fabrication – Create special-purpose subsystems such as data acquisition modules, controllers and electronic interfaces; Preventative Maintenance – Perform scheduled routine preventative maintenance on all building automation; Direct Digital Controllers – Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and make all necessary repairs on all DDC controllers, macro-cells, by using a P.O.T., I.M.P.O.T or laptop PC; Control System Graphics – Develop graphics for the EBI Honeywell System using Core, as well as assigning points so that controls can be monitored at the control terminals; Energy Management DDC Control System – Use DDC control drawings for direction in installing components on air handling equipment, large pumps, chillers, variable frequency drives, damper control, and other various equipment; and Mentor, Guide, and Train – Lead worker responsible for mentoring, guiding and training less experienced and knowledgeable workers.
Applications Developer I Manhattan, Kansas
Applications Developer I will work as part of the Housing and Dining Services' (HDS) team of IT professionals. This position will support the development and web-based custom applications hosted in HDS and the cloud-based products. This position reports to the IT Manager who oversees the web development team and software products used by HDS.

Sunflower District Livestock Production Extension Agent Other
Sunflower Extension District #6 is comprised of Cheyenne, Sherman, and Wallace Counties in northwest Kansas. The office location for this position is in St Francis, the county seat of Cheyenne County, and is located on Highways 36 and 27. St Francis has 1,360 households, 113 private business units, and 85 members in the 4-H youth program. The district has a combined population of 10,853. Cattle production is the major livestock industry with approximately 23,700 beef cows. Wheat, corn and sunflowers are the principal crops produced on 1,180 irrigated and non-irrigated farms in the district covering 1,612,000 acres. Three agents and a multi-county crops and soils specialist serve the Sunflower District. Extension agents are professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programs for livestock production, including but not limited to: breed and species selection and management, nutrition and health, livestock facilities, animal identification, marketing, best management practices and sustainable production techniques.
