Student Intern - Dane G. Hansen Foundation Community Intern Other
The Dane G. Hansen Foundation & K-State Research and Extension internship gives college students the opportunity to link classroom learning with a preprofessional work experience. The intern will assist the Lovewell Institute for Creative Arts in promoting and documenting theater workshops and performances in 6 communities across Northwest Kansas. The intern will also work with Dane G. Hansen staff to collect stories and media artifacts of all interns hired through the Community Intern Program.
Student Intern - Development of GIS Database for Utility Systems in Lucas, Kansas Other

Office Specialist II Manhattan, Kansas
This position provides clerical support of teaching, research and extension faculty in Weber Hall. This position will be responsible for the Animal Sciences & Industry Testing Center and all mail room responsibilities on a daily basis. This person will help with departmental schedules, events, and other faculty itineraries. Sends and receives, and distributes faxes for Weber Hall. Will be able to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create and enhance documents for faculty presentation and or labs/classes. This position will also scan documents in various formats to convert files to an electronic format for faculty. This person will maintain the daily calendar for the Extension vehicle reservations. This position will also make sure that maintenance and cleaning are done. This person will also schedule Weber Hall and Call Hall classrooms and meeting rooms, including the Stanley Stout Center and the Sheep and Meat Goat Center in the Department and will submit the paperwork to the Department and Facilities for classroom use. This person will order and maintain inventory of supplies for the Department. Help with Departmental events and other duties and projects as needed to be an effective team member.
