Reporting to the Program Director, the Academic Director participates in all aspects of the development, implementation, and evaluation of the PA curriculum. The Academic Director plans and coordinates the didactic and summative components of the PA program, and plans and participates in the didactic and clinical year assessments. The Academic Director oversees and coordinates the didactic component of the Self Study Report (SSR), and assists the Program Director with administrative duties as assigned. The Academic Director, along with the Program Director, supervises all faculty of the didactic year.

Research Assistant (Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory) Manhattan, Kansas
The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Research Assistant. This position is an 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. staff position that will assist with samples preparation, quality control, and laboratory organization samples submitted to the KSVDL for evaluation. This position will involve assisting in the preparation of chemicals and reagents in an analytical laboratory, being able to successfully complete proficiency testing, and assisting in maintaining records and equipment. In addition, this position is also responsible in assisting with SOP review and preparation, and training new student employees.
Medical Resident Year 1 (Anesthesiology) Manhattan, Kansas
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) at Kansas State University is offering a three year anesthesia and analgesia residency designed to meet ACVAA residency requirements. The resident may elect to pursue a Master of Science degree simultaneously. Supervision of MS degree program is by graduate faculty within the Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine. The resident is required to submit an original manuscript to a refereed journal prior to completion of the residency.
Cottonwood District Horticulture Extension Agent Other
Cottonwood Distict is composed of Barton and Ellis County. The district has a combined population of 55,668. This part of the state is noted for oil production as well as diversified farming and livestock operations. The Kansas Wetlands Education Center, managed by Fort Hays State University and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, is located northeast of Great Bend. Hays is home to Fort Hays State University, a Kansas Board of Regents institution. The Cottonwood Extension District is served by seven agents and several support staff. This position will also provide leadership for our master Gardeners program, which has 33 active members. Extension agents are professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to horticulture. Programming will include but is not limited to: horticulture crop production, marketing and economics, conservation of natural resources, horticulture waste management, and residential landscape management.

National Agriculture Biosecurity Center Program Director / Biosecurity Research Institute Director of Project Coordination Manhattan, Kansas
The National Agriculture Biosecurity Center (NABC) Program Director / Biosecurity Research Institute (BRI) Director of Project Coordination will report directly to the NABC /Director and will be responsible for the successful coordination of all program related activities, including, but not limited to, development of statements of work, budgets, and required reports; tracking expenditures' client/sponsor interface; creation and coordination of project teams. The Program Director will have the authority to make decisions and perform NABC actions as designated by the NABC Director in their absence. The BRI Director of Research Coordination will assist the BRI Director to evaluate situations and requests when the BRI Director is unavailable, so that information channels can be maintained, and employees can be advised. The position will have the authority to make decisions related to facility use and operation to include budgetary authority so that urgent needs could be met, for example, if unanticipated repairs were needed in order to not disrupt a project. The BRI Director of Research Coordination will have the authority to make designated BRI decisions and perform BRI actions as assigned in the absence of the BRI Director.
