Procurement Officer I Manhattan, Kansas
This position will be responsible for all procurement of equipment, materials, and supplies for all teaching, grant projects, laboratory, and research activities. This includes preparation of purchase requisitions and orders, acquiring bids as needed up to $10,000, and completion of Prior Authorizations as needed. This position maintains the state required inventory systems to accurately record equipment purchases. Along with maintaining inventory records, the position is also responsible for tracking the necessary maintenance of equipment, as well as the disposition of discarded equipment. This position will be the first point of contact for all departmental maintenance problems and repairs of departmental space. The specialist will have direct contact with all department staff, faculty and students, outside vendors, Financial Services, and Facilities. This position will work closely with the University Fire Marshall and Code Inspector to ensure all departmental buildings are meeting code and all safety regulations are followed. Incumbent must be able to advise the department of safety issues and training, disposal of hazardous waste and pest control ensuring adherence to KSU policy and procedures.
Research Assistant (Anatomy & Physiology) Manhattan, Kansas
The Department of Anatomy & Physiology is seeking applicants for a Research Assistant. The incumbent to this position would be responsible for initial configuration and implementation of an API platform in our computational environment. This is envisioned as a multipurpose platform that will integrate disparate sources of human and animal health data (FDA Drug Approvals and Databases, veterinary electronic medical records, pharmacogenomic data, preclinical toxicological data, pharmacological and diagnostic laboratory data, etc.) into a single platform using tools developed by our group and Cerner (CODE, Ignite, FHIR, etc. ) to curate and manage integrated human and animal health databases.

The Institute of Computational Comparative Medicine (ICCM) and Department of Anatomy and Physiology within College of Veterinary Medicine are seeking applicants for a Fellow (Post Doc) to work in the Computational Toxicology and Pharmacokinetic Modeling Laboratory of Dr. Zhoumeng Lin. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for designing and developing physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models for chemicals or nanoparticles in animals and humans for food safety assessment or risk assessment. This individual will also apply machine learning and neural network modeling methods to study the association of nanoparticle physiological properties and tissue distribution. This individual will receive training in PBPK modeling, dose-response assessment, risk assessment, computational toxicology, machine learning and/or neural network modeling.
Fellow (Post Doc) (Anatomy & Physiology) Manhattan, Kansas

The incumbent of this position will receive training in computational PBPK modeling, analytical chemistry methods, and experimental animal techniques.
Vice Provost for Enrollment Management Manhattan, Kansas
This position serves as the chief enrollment officer responsible for leading the implementation of the university’s comprehensive, multi-year strategic enrollment management plan in support of the outcomes envisioned in the K-State 2025 Strategic Plan.
