The Director of Web and Digital Strategy is responsible for leading the university’s digital web presence and connecting it across traditional and emerging media, ensuring the development and execution of integrated strategies. This role is both a team leadership role and one that must maintain subject matter expertise, requiring a balance between management/supervisory skills, an ability to motivate and inspire, client relations expertise, technical experience and knowledge of content management platforms, user experience best practices, search engine optimization strategies, accessibility standards, and web optimization. The successful candidate will be critical in developing processes and protocols that enhance the division’s overall ability to elevate the university’s web presence.

The Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (Great Plains IDEA), within the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS), is looking to hire an Executive Director to join their team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of all aspects of the consortium in a manner consistent with the alliance principles of collaboration, shared leadership, and providing high-quality distance education teaching and learning opportunities. The Great Plains IDEA community includes university administration, colleges and academic departments, faculty, professional staff, and students. The Executive Director will maintain working relationships with all these constituents, responding to information requests, providing consultation on alliance policy and procedures, and facilitating communication and the open exchange of ideas, as well as decision-making that supports the delivery of alliance academic programs.
Postdoc Associate for Statistical Learning and Data Mining of Automated Tracking	Olathe, Kansas	Hybrid eligible (partially remote, must reside in US)
K-State Olathe and the 1DATA-PAW initiative seeks a Postdoc Associate in the area of data science and elements of statistical and machine learning. We are looking for a Postdoc Associate who can help design and analyze data obtained from a novel deep learning technology that will use visual, audio, and other sensory data to track the behaviors of pigs in a pen continuously and in test arenas that are used to measure cognition and dominance. In light of this technology, This position will be requested to perform a comparative analysis from an adaptive resolution rate based on multiple cameras installed in the pens and arenas designed by Dr. Hulbert for the Sorghum Project. Sorghum fermented products will be used to mitigate stress, inflammatory, and behavioral responses in adult pigs that must have restricted feed intake to maintain a healthy body weight or reduce weight after becoming overweight. This position is full-time, exempt (salaried), term position.

K-State Olathe is hiring a Fellow Post Doc to help design and engineer a novel deep learning technology that will use visual, audio, and other sensory data to track the behaviors of pigs in a pen continuously and in test arenas that are used to measure cognition and dominance. In light of this technology, the Fellow Post Doc will be requested to perform a comparative analysis from at an adaptive resolution rate based on multiple cameras installed in the pens and arenas designed by Dr. Hulbert for the Sorghum Project. Research Assistant	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
Recruiting participants and scheduling their participation times. Collecting data by running participants in human IRB-approved experiments. Will determine participant eligibility for research studies through screenings. Experiments involve completing computerized tasks (e.g., Physics learning module, pre- and post-tests of learning Physics, interviewing participants about their attention during learning, short questionnaires, measuring short-term memory) while collecting data using eye tracking, webcam, and egocentric head-mounted video camera, and computer mouse. All experiments are non-invasive, minimal risk, and approved by the IRB. The condition is a normal office environment with no hazardous conditions. Pre-processing data using supplied software, and post-processing of data (hand coding of data). Storing participant data on hard drives and the cloud.
