Client Services Assistant Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time Client Services Assistant. This position is responsible for providing quality client services in the Large Animal, Small Animal and Discharge Desk areas in the Veterinary Health Center, as well as providing clerical and administrative support for Client Services. Hospital mission includes requirement of providing quality medical services to clients and training for professional veterinary students. Client services must be provided in a professional manner, since first impression of service quality must be established at the time of initial contact to facilitate customer satisfaction, good will, and repeat customer business.
Director of Events Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is seeking applicants for an Events Director who will be responsible for the development and execution of all events hosted at the College level for the CVM, including several high-profile and annual events. This position coordinates all aspects of the events, evaluates their effectiveness and reports to the Dean and Assistant Dean to ensure the events implemented align with the College’s strategic event plan. Additionally, the Director is responsible for the management of best practices for event space usage. The Director serves as a vital member of the College and a resource within the College to ensure that all events deliver a high quality experience and add value to the College. The Director is responsible for hiring, training, and managing event staff and events volunteers. The Director also approves all events requested within the CVM by faculty, staff and students.
4-H Youth Development Summer Internships Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
4-H Youth Development within K-State Research and Extension (KSRE) is seeking multiple Educators/Summer Interns to provide high quality local and regional 4-H programming to Kansas youth. Educators/Interns will be responsible for planning, organizing, facilitating and teaching lessons to youth with research-based curriculum provided by K-State Research & Extension. This full-time, eleven-week internship will run approximately May 28, 2024 – August 9, 2024. Educators/Interns will know their selected host sites by the end of March.
Teaching Assistant Professor Manhattan, Kansas Hybrid eligible (partially remote, must reside in US)
The Department of Applied Human Sciences, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is currently seeking a 9-month Instructor or Teaching Assistant Professor to join their on-campus team. This position will be responsible for teaching and advising students in the Early Childhood Education program. This non-tenure track position will report directly to the Department Head.
