West Plains District Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent in Garden City, Kansas
West Plains Extension District consists of Finney and Scott counties in southwest Kansas. The extension offices are in Garden City and Scott City. The district is a diverse agricultural community that raises wheat, corn, and milo, with cow/calf, dairy and feed yard operations. This position will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of research-based educational programming related to agriculture and natural resources. Programming may include but is not limited to: agronomy; livestock production; agricultural economics, management, and public policy; horticultural production and management; and natural resources conservation and environmental stewardship.
