Yes. You may apply to multiple positions and manage your applications under one applicant account. 

Yes and no. You may make updates to your personal information and upload a revised resume, cover letter or other attachment at any time through your applicant account. However, you are unable to make changes to job-specific application questions once your application is submitted.

All posted jobs are open and accepting applications.  We work diligently to keep all postings updated throughout the recruitment process.

You can check the status of your application in your applicant portal by clicking on Applicant Login at the top of the page.  You will hear directly from the department or search committee regarding any next steps in the application process.

If you are interested in working at K-State but do not see a job currently posted relevant to your skills and experience, you can sign up for Job Alerts to receive updates based on your criteria.

Yes, you can send a job to yourself or add it to your favorites and view it in "my settings" at the top of the screen. Apply when you're ready.

There are multiple ways to login. Click on Applicant Login at the top of our page and enter your email address.  From there you’ll see the various ways to login or reset your password.

An educational equivalency allows education or experience to be interchanged or combined to meet the minimum requirements for the position. More information on educational equivalencies as well as a matrix illustrating how education and experience may be combined can be found here.  If an educational equivalency is allowed, it will be noted in the position minimum qualifications on the job ad.

 

At Kansas State University there are two different employment types: Unclassified Professional Staff (UNC) and University Support Staff (USS). Unclassified Professional Staff are generally faculty, administrators, and other professional staff. University Support Staff (USS) generally include our technical and service staff along with some professional and clerical staff. Any position could be USS or UNC. There are many similarities and differences between these two types of employment. This link explains the similarities and differences.

Term positions have a specified end date or specific funding that is finite.  Term positions may be renewed.  Regular positions do not have specified end dates or finite funding.  

Yes, some positions offer remote or hybrid work options.  Filter by Worksite on our job search page to find the positions that are remote or hybrid eligible.  Additional details of hybrid arrangements can be found in the position announcements.  An employee who is working remotely for K-State must reside within the United States in order to comply with all federal and state laws, filings, or tax requirements.
