The Great Plains Diagnostic Network (GPDN) is seeking to hire an Assistant Director to provide administrative support to the GPDN.  This position is the primary point of contact with Great Plains Region states.  This position will actively participate with national committees, state and federal scientists, regulatory officials, as well as K-State scientists and diagnosticians.  This position will participate in regional and national advanced diagnostic training programs and collaborate with other NPDN diagnosticians.
Pharmacy Technician (Veterinary Health Center) Manhattan, Kansas
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Pharmacy Technician. This position is responsible for providing assistance with daily operation of the KSU-VHC Dispensary. A primary mission of the VHC is to provide medical services for teaching, research, and clients within the surrounding area. The Dispensary is critical to providing medications to support this mission. This position is for the evening shift and will require availability Monday thru Friday, 12pm – 8pm.
Animal Technician I (Veterinary Health Center) Manhattan, Kansas
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for an Animal Technician. This position exists to provide quality animal care to patient, teaching and research animals in the KSU-VHC. Working hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8am- 5pm as well as required rotating weekends. During weeks when employee is required to work over a weekend, the corresponding Thursdays will be non-working days in lieu of Saturday/Sunday. This position is also required to work holidays on a rotating schedule.

Sedgwick County 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent Other
Sedgwick County is a multi-agent county in south central Kansas.  Wichita is the county seat of Sedgwick County, which includes 19 other cities.  The diversified urban, suburban, and rural population is near 500,000. Sedgwick County extension programs focused in the areas of Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture/Horticulture, and Community Development are conducted from a 41,000 square foot Extension Education Center located on 12 acres. The 4-H program has a strong tradition of leadership and participation in state and national 4-H events. There are 15 clubs, 5 strong county project groups, and 535 4-H members. Sedgwick County 4-H is based in nine school districts and 19 communities. This position is a part of a professional staff which includes 10 agents and 20 full and part time office and program support staff. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will jointly lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive 4-H program for school-aged youth in cooperation with local residents and extension colleagues. The primary focus of this position is youth development, specifically in the areas of club management, development and support, volunteerism, support for FCS projects, leadership program, shooting sports, and youth engagement in state/national events. The selected candidate will be expected to provide programs that are research-based and designed for diverse audiences and include a variety of educational delivery methods. The agent must be able to work as part of a 4-H team including one other 4-H youth development agent, two part-time program assistants, and one office professional in the county to oversee delivery of 4-H educational programs.
