This position is responsible for planning and scheduling new electrical distribution centers and maintain and repair the existing distribution centers which control the power for the campus, both high voltage (4,160V – 12,500V) and low voltage (110v, 220V, 240V, 440V, 480V). Be knowledgeable and proficient in the high voltage loop system on campus to enable the back feeding of high voltage to building substations in order to ensure minimum electrical outage time. The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University seeks to expand our expertise in infectious diseases of production animals and host-pathogen interactions by hiring an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (tenure-track or tenured) with expertise in basic/domestic animal immunology. This position will be a 12-month appointment with approximately 70% research, 20% teaching, and 10% service appointment. The faculty is particularly interested in individuals with demonstrated experience in working across disciplines and collaborating broadly. Highest consideration will be given to candidates who also possess a strong background in cellular and molecular biology with investigations that are potentially synergistic with current College of Veterinary Medicine faculty interests in infectious diseases, vaccinology, inflammation, toxicology, cancer, public health, and food safety.
Program/Project Manager I Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement

Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor - Pharmacology Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The Department of Anatomy and Physiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking a pharmacology faculty member (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). This is a full-time position with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications. The position is available as (1) a research and teaching appointment (tenure-track/tenured) or (2) a primarily teaching appointment (clinical-track) and may be a 9- or 12-month position based on the applicant. The candidate will be expected to teach pharmacology in the graduate and professional curriculums, and contribute to the service mission of the Department, College, and University. Specific teaching requirements will be tailored to the expertise of the applicant and the needs of the College but it is anticipated that the teaching appointment for this position will be a minimum of 40% for tenure-track and 70% for clinical track. Applicants with the ability to teach additional related biomedical topics, including physiology, are especially desirable. The overall originality and promise of a candidate’s research will be prioritized rather than the candidate’s area of specialization within pharmacology or related fields for tenure-track/tenured candidates. As part of their duties, a tenure-track or tenured candidate will be expected to mentor and train graduate and professional students in an area of the candidate’s expertise and establish and maintain an independent, dynamic, extramurally-funded research program. The HRFBC helps farm and food enterprises develop local and regional food businesses and markets with an emphasis on assisting historically underserved audiences. The Food Systems Entrepreneurial Resource Navigators will be responsible for providing technical assistance to small, midsized and diverse farm and food-based businesses (i.e. entrepreneurs selling value-added products, opening a restaurant, renovating a rural grocery store etc.) across Kansas and support programming to fulfill K-State Research and Extension's responsibilities for the HRFBC.
