The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University is recruiting an Assistant or Associate Professor with expertise in tick/vector-borne disease, parasitology, and host-pathogen interactions. The ideal candidate should have evidence of research productivity and a strong potential to obtain or have already obtained extramural funding in any area of bacterial tick-borne diseases. This position is a 12-month, tenure-track appointment with an approximately 80% research, 15% teaching, and 5% non-directed service distribution of effort. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in working across disciplines and collaborating broadly in areas that are potentially synergistic with current departmental and college faculty interests in infectious diseases, vaccinology, and cellular and molecular mechanisms of host-pathogen interactions.

The Department of Anatomy and Physiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking a pharmacology faculty member (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). This is a full-time position with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications. The position is available as (1) a research and teaching appointment (tenure-track/tenured) or (2) a primarily teaching appointment (clinical-track) and may be a 9- or 12-month position based on the applicant. The candidate will be expected to teach pharmacology in the graduate and professional curriculums, and contribute to the service mission of the Department, College, and University. Specific teaching requirements will be tailored to the expertise of the applicant and the needs of the College but it is anticipated that the teaching appointment for this position will be a minimum of 40% for tenure-track and 70% for clinical track. This position is the manager/supervisor of the Student Services unit within the Office of the Registrar and utilizes a teamwork approach to ensure that the Office is providing quality service while adhering to University policies and procedures.
