Social Media Consultant	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
The purpose of this position is to advance the prominence of Kansas State University and support strategic plan goals by communicating stories, news and information about the university to a wide range of audiences. This position is responsible for developing content across all social and digital media platforms and for writing content for distribution through a wide range of methods. It requires close collaboration with all units within the Division of Communications and Marketing and other areas of the university to ensure coordination and overall consistency in voice and message.
Marketing Writer	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
The marketing writer creates persuasive advertising and promotional copy that promotes Kansas State University and its divisions/colleges/departments/units within. Candidate has a strong background in brand marketing, is a compelling communicator, and can manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities. The marketing writer provides content that reflects university voice, enhances the university’s brand and ensures alignment back to the strategies. The preferred candidate will be familiar with best practices pursuant to each medium, especially online content that is developed to maximize search engine optimization and user experience.
