Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The College of Arts and Sciences at Kansas State University seeks nominations and applications for the position of Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies.  Arts and Sciences, K-State's largest college, has more than 4500 undergraduate and graduate students, with 45 undergraduate degree programs, 16 doctorate and terminal degree programs, and a range of other masters-only programs, accelerated BS/MS programs, and undergraduate and graduate certificates. The College's 22 departments cover the visual and performing arts, the humanities, and the social, physical, and life sciences. Arts & Sciences’ Higher Education Research and Development (HERD) expenditures were $47.9M in FY2022, and College faculty generated over $23M in extramural grant awards in FY2023. Kansas State University is a land-grant, R1 institution with an ambitious new strategic plan to lead as a “next-generation land-grant university”: Next-Gen K-State. It is situated in the growing community of Manhattan, KS, nestled in the beautiful Flint Hills of northeastern Kansas. This is a regular administrative appointment with a five-year review cycle. Effective starting date of this appointment is negotiable, but we hope to fill the position in spring 2024.
