The purpose of this position is to plan, develop, and administer records management designed to facilitate effective and efficient handling of business records and other information. Implementation of records management policies are intended to standardize filing, protecting, and retrieving records, reports, and other information contained on paper, microfilm, computer program, or other media. Coordinates through subordinate managers on activities involved with various projects that will generate records. Confers with other administrators to assure compliance with policies, procedures, and practices of records management program. In addition, this position will perform routine customer service, clerical and administrative duties such as answer the phone, retrieve packages from the mailroom, greet guests and help setup new hires and visitors as well as attend meetings to transcribe meeting minutes. The Institute of Computational Comparative Medicine (ICCM) and Department of Anatomy and Physiology within College of Veterinary Medicine are seeking applicants for a Research Associate to work in the Computational Toxicology and Risk Assessment Laboratory of Dr. Zhoumeng Lin. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for designing and developing biostatistical approaches, risk analysis methods, and computational toxicology models, primarily physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models for use in food safety and risk assessment to improve public health decision making. This individual will receive training in PBPK modeling, dose-response modeling, risk assessment, computational toxicology, machine learning and/or neural network modeling.
Greenwood County Family and Community Wellness Extension Agent Other
Greenwood County is located in the heart of the Flint Hills, a unique geological formation known for its tallgrass prairie. There are 6,689 county residents and three school systems. Eureka, located on Highway 54, about 60 miles east of Wichita, is the county seat. The family and community wellness position will focus on educational programming related to the needs of the 3,172 families residing in the county. This position will share responsibilities for the 4-H youth development program. There are currently 144 members in seven   4-H community clubs. Extension agents are community based faculty of Kansas State University who make a difference by connecting community needs with university resources. Agents are administratively responsible to the local extension director and the local extension board. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming to build healthy, sustainable communities, families and individuals. Programming will be conducted with volunteers, other community vitality and family and consumer sciences professionals at the local, regional and state level. Programming may include but is not limited to: strengthening families and individuals, building community capacity, family and community health and wellness, and local volunteer development.

Its county seat, McPherson, home to McPherson and Central Colleges, is located at the intersection of Interstate 135 and Highway 56 approximately 50 miles north of Wichita. The office staff includes three agents (family and consumer sciences, 4-H youth development and agriculture and natural resources), a program assistant and two office professionals. This position will provide primary leadership for the development and implementation of research-based educational programming related to family and consumer sciences.
