About This Role:

The Instructor is responsible for course development, implementation and assessment and evaluation of course instruction. This position will be expected to teach classes in varying formats including face-to-face, online or hybrid classes. The instructor will also mentor undergraduate students, serve on departmental, college and university committees, as well as participate in student-related activities. Candidates should be able to develop instructional outcomes and provide a positive learning environment. The candidate will participate in student organizations, student competitions, and departmental development and promotion. The candidate must be an effective communicator and instructor, have demonstrated strong leadership and management skills along with a commitment to team building and continuous improvement, and possess the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, staff and industry.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A master’s degree in business is required. A Ph.D. or ABD (all but dissertation) will be considered. Industry-related marketing or sales work experience is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Evidence of effective and innovative course development and instruction are preferred qualifications.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience with mentoring and development of a diverse population, is also required. A strong commitment to fostering diversity is also expected.
