About This Role:

The Medical Technologist provides timely, accurate laboratory results by following Lafene laboratory procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements. To update, maintain, and problem solve laboratory information systems (LIS). Including interfaces for instruments, reference laboratories, faxing programs, and Lafene Health Center EMR.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S. or B.A. from accredited four-year college/university in chemical, laboratory and biological sciences.
  •  Completion of 12 months in an approved medical technology or CLS internship program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic computer knowledge to include simple hardware setup, program interface requirements, database creation and maintenance, and problem-solving.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • National Certification as a medical technologist or clinical laboratory scientist.

$23.28-$29.00 per hour
