About This Role:

The Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for an Assistant Scientist to work on field and greenhouse research activities related to weed management. This individual will conduct experiments to assess herbicide efficacy and develop recommendations for integrated management of weeds in agronomic crops.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Agronomy or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Agronomy or related field.
  • Familiar with agronomic production and research.
  • CDL license.

Other Requirements: 

  • Certified pesticide applicator’s license.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$36,965 - $49,893/annually. Salary commensurate with experience.
