About This Role:

The Department of Agronomy at Kansas State University is looking for a Fellow (Post Doc) to focus on understanding the interaction of phosphorus management and cover crops on dynamic soil health properties at the Kansas Agricultural Watershed Field Laboratory.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Soil Science with an emphasis in dynamic biological soil health indicators/soil ecology/soil microbiology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years experience with data collection at the Kansas Agricultural Watershed Field Laboratory, knowledge and experience in conducting microbial biomass, enzyme and related analyses, demonstrated ability to write manuscripts for publication in refereed journals, demonstrated ability analyzing data using SAS

Other Requirements:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$22.83 - $31.25 hourly ($47,476 - $65,000 annually)
