About This Role:

Title: Program Assistant

Location:  Manhattan, Kansas (4-H State Office)

4-H Youth Development within K-State Research and Extension is looking for a Program Assistant to provide customer service to local extension units, university partnerships, program participants and families.  This position will also be responsible for assisting volunteer applicants with the online volunteer screening processes and invoicing local extension units related to 4-H programs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide logistics for Statewide programmatic volunteer screening, invoicing, and local unit extension office communication.

• Support the 4H Online Enrollment Management system.

• Provide administrative support to both state and area faculty members for major department programs.

• Provide customer service to assist our communities with program participation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Three years of administrative assistance experience.
  • Experience with on-line enrollment systems.
  • Experience with data collections systems (ie., Qualtrics).
  • Familiarity with 4-H Youth Development Programs.
  • Knowledge of K-State Research and Extension.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$16.04 - $20.00 hourly
