About This Role:

The K-State Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina is seeking an Instructional Designer to provide comprehensive support for a range of instructional technologies used throughout the college. This position requires a versatile individual capable of assisting faculty and staff with various educational technologies, including, but not limited to, Learning Management System (LMS), video conferencing tools such as Zoom, lecture capture systems, and video editing software.

Worksite Options:

This position is eligible for a hybrid worksite. What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • One year of relevant experience.
  • This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field highly preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 Years Experience highly preferred
  • Proven experience supporting LMS platforms, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Familiarity with recording and video editing tools.
  • Experience with content creation tools like Articulate Rise and Storyline 360.
  • Experience with virtual and augmented reality educational applications and device technologies
  • Experience with classroom technology and multimedia production.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide hands-on support
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:

$52,000 - $62,000, depending on qualifications
