About This Role:

The Project Instructor for the Center for Intercultural and Multilingual Advocacy (CIMA) will support professional development and technology integration for federally funded projects designed to increase PK-12 educator capacities for culturally responsive practices.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate professional development for PK-12 paraprofessionals.
  • Provide workshops and seminars for project participants to foster effective technology use.
  • Develop infrastructure to support digital repositories and information sharing with district and community stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with CIMA directors to develop curricula, program materials, and resources.
  • Manage collection and organization of project data toward goal attainment.
  • Facilitate logistics of course offerings and enrollment processes.
  • Support office systems development and management.
  • Bolster online presence of program and projects (e.g., social media, website).
  • Provide progress reports to CIMA directors.

This position requires periodic evening and weekend work, as needed, to support attainment of program and project goals.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field
  • Three years of experience supporting diverse student populations at the PK-12 and/or college level
  • Ability to utilize software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe) to develop materials and organize information
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialized training or experience working with English learners
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technology support for PK-12 educational programs
  • Experience with developing and implementing strategic plans for IT projects
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
  • Valid U.S. state driver’s license
