The Veterinary Health Center within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a temporary Caretaker in Large Animal. This position exists to provide quality animal care to patient, teaching and research animals in the KSU-VHC. The schedule for this position will be Thursday – Monday 8:00am- 5:00pm including holidays.

This role plans, manages, directs, and assesses outreach events for middle school and high school students; facilitates and coordinates recruitment and retention initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students; facilitates support initiatives for post-doctoral students and retention activities for junior faculty; manages the budget for these programs; and maintains databases on all program participants. Occasional evening and weekend work are required in connection with these activities. This position communicates and coordinates with college-level representatives involved in allied outreach and retention activities for students and faculty underrepresented in STEM. The Program Coordinator supervises graduate and undergraduate student workers.
