The Center on Biologics Development and Evaluation (CBDE) in conjunction with the Department of Anatomy and Physiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to undertake several administrative and program management tasks. CBDE provides innovative services to our global partners and customers in animal vaccine safety and efficacy evaluation and using vaccines as alternatives for antimicrobials in food animal production systems. This position will help CBDE’s Director in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties associated with multiple research, education, and service programs.
Veterinary Assistant-Triage Call Center Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time Veterinary Assistant in the Triage Call Center. This position is responsible for providing occasional clinical assistance and appropriate service for the calls coming into the VHC for patient appointments and consultations. The hospital mission includes providing quality medical services to clients and training for professional veterinary students. The individual must provide services in a professional manner, is the first impression, and establish the initial contact with the caller.

Assistant/Associate Professor (Immunology) Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University seeks to expand our expertise in infectious diseases of production animals and host-pathogen interactions by hiring an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (tenure-track or tenured) with expertise in basic/domestic animal immunology. This position will be a 12-month appointment with approximately 70% research, 20% teaching, and 10% service appointment. The faculty is particularly interested in individuals with demonstrated experience in working across disciplines and collaborating broadly. Highest consideration will be given to candidates who also possess a strong background in cellular and molecular biology with investigations that are potentially synergistic with current College of Veterinary Medicine faculty interests in infectious diseases, vaccinology, inflammation, toxicology, cancer, public health, and food safety.
Director, Conflict of Interest and Conflict of Time Manhattan, Kansas Remote required (must reside in US)
This position leads and develops K-State’s Conflict of Interest/Conflict of Time (COI/COT) program to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. The incumbent works under the direction of the Division of Risk and Safety with additional reporting responsibilities to the University Research Compliance Office and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
