The Extension Nutrition Program, within K-State Research and Extension, is currently seeking a full-time Nutrition Educator. Nutrition Educators serve to meet the Kansas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) mission of empowering limited-resource Kansans using evidence-based strategies to achieve healthy lives and reduce health disparities. Specific strategies include direct education in various settings; community-based projects to address policy, system, or environmental changes; and public health approaches to help children, families and adults improve dietary quality and food resource management skills and increase physical activity. This position will serve Northwest Kansas and be based in Great Bend.
Academic Advisor Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) is seeking an Academic Advisor to join their team. This position is responsible for advising approximately 240 undergraduate students seeking health science degrees in HHS. The Academic Advisor will advise students on their academic plans, progress, and academic goals to assist them in making personal education decisions and meeting graduation requirements. This position reports to the Assistant Dean.
