| Extension agents are professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. Geary County is in north-central Kansas. Junction City is the county seat and home to the Geary County Extension office. This agent will make a difference through community partnerships, SNAP-Ed programming, childcare initiatives, Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansans (SHICK), and so much more by leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of research-based educational programming related to family and consumer sciences.

Primary responsibilities include organizing and performing activities related to the production of foundation seed of various species of crops, and working on and with specialized equipment, trucks, augers, structures, etc. This individual will work with Agronomy Farm and Western Kansas Agricultural Research Center personnel to accomplish objectives. |
