The employee uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instruction or close supervision, but refers deviations, problems, and unfamiliar situations not covered by instructions or experience to the supervising faculty for decision or help. The supervisor assures that finished work and methods used are those desired. Review of work depends on complexity of the task and incumbent’s familiarity with the task. |
