The Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (Great Plains IDEA), within the College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS), is looking to hire an Executive Director to join their team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the operations and administration of all aspects of the consortium in a manner consistent with the alliance principles of collaboration, shared leadership, and providing high-quality distance education teaching and learning opportunities. The Great Plains IDEA community includes university administration, colleges and academic departments, faculty, professional staff, and students. The Executive Director will maintain working relationships with all these constituents, responding to information requests, providing consultation on alliance policy and procedures, and facilitating communication and the open exchange of ideas, as well as decision-making that supports the delivery of alliance academic programs.
Postdoc Associate for Statistical Learning and Data Mining of Automated Tracking	Olathe, Kansas	Hybrid eligible (partially remote, must reside in US)
K-State Olathe and the 1DATA-PAW initiative seeks a Postdoc Associate in the area of data science and elements of statistical and machine learning. We are looking for a Postdoc Associate who can help design and analyze data obtained from a novel deep learning technology that will use visual, audio, and other sensory data to track the behaviors of pigs in a pen continuously and in test arenas that are used to measure cognition and dominance. In light of this technology, This position will be requested to perform a comparative analysis from an adaptive resolution rate based on multiple cameras installed in the pens and arenas designed by Dr. Hulbert for the Sorghum Project. Sorghum fermented products will be used to mitigate stress, inflammatory, and behavioral responses in adult pigs that must have restricted feed intake to maintain a healthy body weight or reduce weight after becoming overweight. This position is full-time, exempt (salaried), term position.

K-State Olathe is hiring a Fellow Post Doc to help design and engineer a novel deep learning technology that will use visual, audio, and other sensory data to track the behaviors of pigs in a pen continuously and in test arenas that are used to measure cognition and dominance. The post doc will work in theoretical ultrafast atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics and gain experience in computational molecular physics/chemistry and method development.

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR: Working supervisor position for events and facilities; provide leadership and direction regarding maintenance in assigned areas; responsible for facility operation; prioritize, track and execute work orders in a timely fashion; perform minor electrical repairs; schedule and perform preventative maintenance; initiate and oversee minor repair projects; maintain grounds; train part-time staff regarding day-to-day operations procedures; respond to emergencies outside of normal work hours; and responsible for daily and event operations of assigned facilities which entails working varied hours and schedules.
