Accounting Specialist, Part Time (Accounts Receivable & Cashiering) Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The position is responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable for the Veterinary Health Center. This position will evaluate client accounts, accept payments, reconcile cash drawers and receipts and assist the client with any account needs necessary. This position will also work directly with the business manager to resolve any client queries or problematic situations that may arise, including but not limited to non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.
Fellow (Post Doc) Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for a Fellow (Post Doc). The successful candidate will analyze and assess the spatial distribution of CRP in Kansas and the Great Plains. Analyze the potential soil carbon sequestration linked with soil type, climate, and yield potential. Determine the vulnerability of conversion to cultivated agriculture and synergy with adjacent grasslands with critical wildlife habitat. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research and drafting publications for technical reports, and scientific journals. The successful applicant will work in an interdisciplinary team involving ecologists, soil scientists, and modelers.

The Applied Aviation Research Center (AARC) at Kansas State University’s Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina is seeking a highly-motivated and skilled Research Associate to support unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) research and development activities. The Research Associate will assist with grant proposal development by conducting literature reviews, establishing methodologies, drafting milestones, tasks objectives, research task plan(s) and budgets as required. The incumbent may also serve as a technical lead on various research projects within their area of expertise and instruct courses in UAS as applicable.

Anesthesia Emergency Clinician (Clinical Sciences) Manhattan, Kansas On-site requirement
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) at Kansas State University invites applications for a clinical, term appointment as Anesthesia Emergency Clinician (AEC). The primary responsibility for this position will be to contribute to after-hours emergency care for VHC patients requiring general anesthesia. Candidates must hold a DVM degree or equivalent and have experience with general anesthesia and/or emergency practice in veterinary patients. Continuing education or advanced training in emergency care and/or veterinary anesthesia is desirable but not a requirement for this position. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The AEC will work with senior faculty, house officers, technical staff, and veterinary students. The distribution of effort for the AEC will be predominately after-hours clinical service with the opportunity to contribute to lecture and laboratory teaching.
