| Facilities Building Maintenance is hiring a carpenter position. The carpenter will repair, remodel, and construct all types of university interiors and exteriors of buildings including (but not limited to) classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, laboratories, and tunnels in order to update or repair the structure, to keep it usable by the public sector served, including the construction of new wood and/or metal-framed walls; construct, repair, remove, and install all types of flooring materials, including removal of nonfriable asbestos floor tile; construct, install, and repair windows, wood paneling, sheetrock, trim, and insulation; hang doors, cabinets, acoustic tile, suspended ceilings, and door frames. Minor repair/patching of roofs and gutters.
