Instructor/Teaching Assistant Professor	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
The Department of Horticulture & Natural Resources at Kansas State University is recruiting an Instructor/Teaching Assistant Professor to contribute to undergraduate education in Wildlife and Outdoor Enterprise Management (WOEM). This position will be a 12-month appointment and will be divided among teaching (80%) and research (20%) activities. Natural resources conservation and management in the United States is largely funded by activities centered around hunting, fishing, and shooting sports. Participation in these activities is growing and businesses supporting these recreational pursuits contribute millions of dollars to local and national economies. The WOEM program in the Department of Horticulture and Natural Resources at K-State is a unique discipline that trains undergraduate students to be leaders in the outdoor industry (e.g., hunting and fishing operations, shooting sports management, and/or habitat management enterprises) while also providing science-based instruction in applied natural resources management. Our graduates use their combined training in natural resources management and business/entrepreneurship to become leaders in the outdoor industry, non-profit organizations, and state and federal agencies.
IT Engineer, Identity and Access Management Senior Engineer	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
The Identity & Access Management (IDAM) Senior Security Engineer is more than a technical expert; they are a pivotal resource within the university, acting as the primary liaison for departmental identity managers. This role is responsible for helping implement and continuously optimize identity and access management services in line with evolving technologies and security regulations. They are responsible for helping design, implement, and maintain IDAM technologies to ensure audit and privacy compliance, and drive automation wherever possible. This role will also assist with resolving any security issues related to IDAM operations. Leadership and coordination are essential elements of this role. You'll drive cross-functional teams, facilitating discussions and serving as the subject matter expert. The Senior Engineer will also focus on the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of IDAM systems. This ensures not only optimal performance but also adherence to stringent security protocols. Additionally, as an authority in the field, you'll be tasked with developing and disseminating training materials to clarify processes, as well as offering expert advice on the latest solutions and best practices. Your contributions will be key in advancing the university's digital infrastructure securely and efficiently.
Development Hospitality Post Graduate Intern	Manhattan, Kansas	On-site requirement
DEVELOPMENT POST GRADUATE INTERN: Responsible for assisting with premium spaces for football season, manage east club & suites for football gamedays. Assist with preparation of premium spaces for Men’s and women’s basketball and baseball. Assist with the planning and preparation for the Powercat Auction, Catbacker tour and external events, tours & photos. Assist with hiring, schedule and training of Hospitality & Events Ambassadors.

The purpose of the IT Service Desk Operations Coordinator is to ensure seamless and efficient support operations within the IT Service Desk in support of Kansas State University. This role involves supervising and overseeing daily activities of the IT Service Desk support team, prioritizing and resolving technical issues, and managing service requests to ensure timely and effective resolution. The IT Service Desk Operations Coordinator works closely with various departments to develop and implement support strategies and communicate updates and changes effectively. By maintaining a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, and implementing preventive measures, the IT Service Desk Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in minimizing disruptions, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing user satisfaction with IT services. Additionally, this role may involve documenting procedures, evaluating service levels, and recommending improvements to continually enhance the quality and efficiency of IT Service Desk support operations.
