About This Role:

The Human Capital Assistant in the North Shared Services Center will function as an assistant to the Human Capital Specialist in this center. 

  • Works closely with over 100 undergraduate and graduate student employees to complete appointment paperwork and ensure proper documents are provided for employment 
  • Tracks student position funding and makes updates when needed
  • Enters time and leave data for student employees and ensures they are paid correctly each payroll period
  • Monitors appointment end dates for student employees, extends and terminates appointments as needed
  • Ensures that all employee files are properly documented
  • Maintains security of confidential information including social security numbers
  • Assists with special projects as needed

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

·         High school diploma and one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe

Other Requirements:

·         Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
