About This Role:

This position is responsible for assessing for referral to short term individual, couple, and group therapy; conducting initial assessments, intakes, and crisis sessions, providing referrals and bridging care to the community as needed; consulting with students, faculty, and staff regarding mental health issues; and other tasks as requested by our Director. Occasional after hours and weekend work is required.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work. (i.e. LMFT/LCMFT, LCSW, LPC, etc.)
  • One to three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year post-graduate experience in the mental health field providing individual therapy.
  • Prior experience in a university counseling center.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • Licensed or license eligible by the State of Kansas Behavioral Science Board.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$39,000.00 - $60,440.00 annually
