About This Role:

This position is responsible for providing short term individual, couple, and group therapy; conducting initial assessments, intakes, and crisis sessions, providing referrals and bridging care to the community as needed; providing supervision and training for doctoral interns; consulting with students, faculty, and staff regarding mental health issues and participating in outreach activities to the campus community. Occasional after hours and weekend work is required.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or equivalent mental health field from an APA-accredited program.
  • Currently licensed as a psychologist by the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Board.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of work related experience at a college or university counseling center.
  • Experience and interest in working with individuals who struggle with disordered eating, substance use, and/or group therapy.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • Currently licensed as a psychologist by the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Board.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$49,500.00 - $79,160.00 annually
