About This Role:

A half-time (20 hours per week) Research Assistant position is available in the Division of Biology.  Duties will include establishing and maintaining cell lines from honey bee embryos and performing diagnostic assays for honey bee viruses.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in biological sciences
  • Outstanding organizational and record keeping skills
  • Experience performing molecular biology assays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • M.S. or equivalent degree in biological sciences
  • Experience working with cultured cells

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
