About This Role:

The Materials Research Laboratory for Sustainable Energy in The Tim Taylor Department of Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University is seeking a full-time Fellow (Post Doc) with fuel cell and electrochemistry background. This position will work on two projects, one is developing solid oxide cells for power generation and chemicals manufacturing; the second one studying advanced electrocatalysts for chemical energy storage.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
|
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electrochemical characterization including EIS, CV, and others
- Experience in inorganic materials synthesis and electrochemistry
- Experience in fuel cells and other electrochemical devices including electrolysis cells, batteries
- Familiar with SEM, TEM, XPS, XRD, GC-FID-TCD-MS, FTIR, Raman, and other materials characterization techniques
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Ability to design and conduct advanced experiments

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$ 48,000 - $ 49,000 annual salary
