About This Role:

The Agronomy Department at Kansas State University is looking for an Assistant Scientist to assist in the operation of the East Central Kansas Experiment Field near Ottawa.  This individual would work closely with the agronomist-in-charge stationed at the Kansas River Valley Experiment Field near Topeka, and the agricultural technician at ECK, researchers and graduated students from KSU in conduction field research related to dryland corn, soybean, grain sorghum and wheat production.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Agronomy or related field
  • 5+ years experience in crop production
  • Pesticide applicators license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ag equipment operation, computers and technology

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
