About This Role:
|
The Electronics Technician will coordinate with Campus Control technicians and appropriate teams as needed to diagnose and help resolve utility meter problems that could include mechanical, electrical, and/or communication issues. Assist with evaluation of metered utility use and calculation of distribution costs of electricity, natural gas, steam, chilled water, water, and sewer for reviewing utility bills and compiling monthly utility reports.

Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Education:
- Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Trade
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with utility units and conversions (Kwh, KW, CCF, MMBTU, gallons, etc.)
- Familiarity with meter operations and types (i.e. turbine, ultrasonic, etc.)
- Ability to read/interpret data from a wide variety of utility metering devices
- Familiarity with Honeywell Building Automation System
- Ability to read and understand specifications and manuals for electronic wiring
- Ability to interface and effectively work with various groups and cultures
- Individual must balance multiple competing priorities, meet deadlines, be responsive, and thrive in a team environment
- Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and clear focus
- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Proficiency with tablets (iPad, MS Surface, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Other Requirements:
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Operate various state vehicles for transportation to job sites and delivery of materials/equipment as needed.
