About This Role:

The Division of Biology seeks a Storeroom Manager to oversee the operation of purchasing, receiving and distributing incoming supplies for the laboratories within Biology including maintaining inventory. Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operate and manage the scientific supply room for the Division of Biology and other KSU Departments
  • Receive and check-in incoming orders from vendors
  • Order supplies from vendors
  • Manage fixed asset inventory for the Division of Biology
  • Process outgoing shipments

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Two or more years of relevant experience (Education may be substituted for experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Five or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with and handling gases, chemicals, liquid nitrogen

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
  • Valid KS Drivers License
