About This Role:

K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Fan Experience and Sales Post Graduate Intern, which is a temporary, full-time, benefits-eligible position for up to 24 months. 

An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Direct oversight of the development and implementation of all marketing, advertising, group tickets and sales plans for three assigned sports (volleyball, baseball and soccer) with a focus on increasing attendance and revenue.  In addition, assist with sales reporting and analysis to help the department make fact-based decisions.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, sports marketing or related field at time of application 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a collegiate athletic marketing office
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and individually

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator)
  • Minimum of two years experience working in a collegiate athletic marketing office

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment

Screening of Applications Begins:

Salary Range/Pay Rate:

$ 10.00 per hour (approximately $20,800 yearly estimate plus paid overtime) in the first year; potential to earn $12.50 (approximately $26,000 yearly estimate plus paid overtime) after completion of first year with a successful review.  Paid biweekly (26 pay periods).
