About This Role:

NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising based at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS is seeking an IT Support Specialist II to manage several essential programs. Under the general guidance of the Assistant Director III, the incumbent’s responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring, updating and maintaining the association’s customer-based data systems and websites; maintaining technology tools and resources to support staff, volunteer leaders and the association; assisting in maintaining staff and association software and hardware technology; supporting the Assistant Director in technical troubleshooting, installation and operation of technologies; and providing staff training as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic media, technology or related field; three to five years’ experience effectively supporting electronic communications and technical support; experience in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe creative suites programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, etc.); knowledge of web editing; ability to work independently as well as to collaborate with others; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

  • Master’s degree or additional experience in an IT support-related field; five to seven years’ experience working effectively in an IT-related field; experience with ProTech and DNN association management systems; knowledge of web coding and editing in daily tasks; social medial experience; strong attention to detail.

$40,576 - $62,882 per year
