About This Role:

The Department of Anatomy & Physiology within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a Research Technician position. The main responsibility is to be responsible for the animal studies at the LARC facility which includes taking temperature, collecting blood samples and body weights, administering vaccines and drugs, and doing necropsy. In addition, he/she will conduct experiments in a lab including doing cell culture, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and other assays.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year working experience in a research laboratory. Animal study working experience in a BSL-2 and BSL-3 research facility.

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
